I do not condone stealing. This project is for my own documentation and more concept based. I mean to implement it but just haven’t.
What this looks like from the Process side and what I would like
1) Find the torrent online 2) Send the magnet link to the deluge instance 3) After the torrent is downloaded, make it available on the Ampache instance
What it is in reality
1) Spin up XPS Server (Actually a Laptop)
2) Raw dog a Utorrent Process on the Server because why not
- Forget where the hell the process is and how its started
- Hit the Proxy block asking for a password
- Look up default password (..oh it’s admin username and (“”) blank password..)
3) Torrent file(s) (OS’s and what have you..)
3) Rsync files from the utorrent server from their default location in the Home Directory to my Mac
Documentation for the current process:
1) Spin up XPS
2) run utserver -settingspath /opt/utorrent-server-alpha-v3_3/ &
3) Hit the server at port 8080. Log in with admin and blank..
4) After files downloaded to home directory, rsync them to Macbook
